Armstrong Woods Engagement Session | Guernville, CA |

"Reunited... reunited and it feels so good." The song from the 70's kept replaying over and over in my mind as we packed up the car and made the 3 hour journey to Armstrong Woods. We had been on a two month hiatus, while trying to simplify our lives and renovate an older, smaller home. But somehow in the middle of it, it started to consume our every thought. You know it's gotten to be too much, when picking out the color of roof shingles makes you cry! Thankfully, it's coming to and end and we survived! Which means we're back to doing what we love, and it feels so good!

(Cue the music!)

We were so excited to be back in the Sonoma area for Holly & Johnny's engagement session! These two sweethearts are not only planning a wedding, but also just started their own business! (Amazing, right?!) Spending time exploring the woods with these two was the perfect way to spend a Saturday. Their love for each other was obvious, as they walked through the redwoods. Quiet laughs, gentle smiles, and sweet gazes. You could see it in her eyes. You could see it on his face. 
The look of love is unmistakeable!

Holly & Johhny, we were so impressed with the two of you! Despite your busy schedules, you made time for what's most important, each other. We loved exploring Armstrong Woods with you. Swatting a few mosquitos and keeping an eye out for snakes was totally worth it!

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your story. We can't wait for your wedding next spring! We'll keep brainstorming for some hashtags for the big day! :)
