French Restaurant Commercial Session || Santa Rosa CA || La Gare Restaurant, Jackie & Roger

What are dreams made of? If you're anything like us, they mostly revolve around food... Ice cream, cookies, decadent chocolates and baguettes...and yes our favorites happen to be carbs!

Just thinking about food makes our tummies rumble. You may or may not know this, but being a pastry chef, (or any type of chef, really) was Jenna's other career choice. It didn't work out, but it hasn't stopped her from cooking at home!

So, when we had the opportunity to photograph entrees and desserts at La Gare restaurant in the Sonoma area (Santa Rosa to be exact) we couldn't say yes fast enough! 

Jacquelyn (a.k.a Jackie) and her brother, Roger own the restaurant together. Their parents originally opened La Gare in 1979. She runs the front of the house, while he runs the kitchen. No surprise, they won 2018 Best Restaurant of Sonoma County!

If you're in the area, close by, thinking of visiting, or know someone you could stay with, take our word for it and go try it! Your taste buds will thank you. (And us!)

Jackie, thank you for allowing us to spend the evening at your beautiful restaurant! It was an unbelievable experience that we just can't stop talking about! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is captivating and welcoming. It feels like you're a member of the family when you come in to dine at La Gare. We feel so honored to have been able to capture this, and the amazing food that you create! 

We're counting down the days until our next trip!
